tenth and final week

Great thanks to my great professor Deborah she helped me whenever I faced  problems ,and my thanks for Oregon university ,im ready to contact and participate other courses .we spent nice weeks working in this online course . we started with course survey ,a good discussion and rubric discussion .every week we worked on two different topics. we discussed the assignments and post our reflection on blogger I interested in sending comments to my friends blog .

about the course benefits :first iam happy because I  introduced with some great and helpful friends ,I learn t how to using  technology to foster learning style ,creating interactive power point presentation , saving on delicious, creating blog, book marks presentation ,web quest ,online class on nice net ,writing learning objectives I moved from traditional teaching to modern style of teaching , engaging students in large classes ,encouraging learner autonomy and how they depend on themselves its really one of the interesting topic ,one computer classroom brought me and my laptop to the class and final project was new for me I didnt made it before .finally I used some of those nice and useful technology with my students and by God willing iam going to use others with ,

Week 9 creating online course

A hard and useful week

The first topic is how to create a class site on nicenet .I named the class (speaking ) to make students break shy ,speak more fluency , getting benifiet  of English native speaker ,overcome the pronunciation and learn more about English culture  .really it is wounderful for students to participate in this class .concerning creating exercises online want to thank my collegouse they mentioned useful information I got great benefit from them ,i believe it is a good step to help our students introducing with this useful tool ,when they use it they will be intresting to use the net skill fully ,although most of them havent information of how to use the net.

week8 Two other intrsting and useful topics :learner Autonomy and one-computer class

learner autonomy :learner autonomy independence play in increasing important role in language education autonomy .language learner takes responsibility for his /her learning situation .the students can evaluate his attainment through his objective .For us as a teacher lerner autonomy means new objectives and we must encourage our students to be independent and self desision .

One computer class:its very good and important idea although in Iraq we don't have computer in school to be used in the class,but we can get our laptop to the class and use it as one of the activities in the class for showing and teaching students many things and also we can use for interesting by showing them pictures ,songs and other things  . I know your aim is to encourage us to use this nice tool.I read many useful sites for the one class computer i took some of these ideas about how could we use computer in the class for internet site or educational soft ware ,use of data show in power point presentation.its good for making project among students .

week 7 1- Engaging students in large classes 2- Interactive use of PowerPoint

First of all thank you .

First topic :These are very helpful and interesting topic ,it  made me thinking about the way in which I might go towards  a new and modern world which is technology .When I read my friends posts,readings and sites I gathered good and nice information about this ,I thought the teacher should be a leader then a teacher .

Iam sure every teacher wants to use technology in their classes but unfortunity many schools do not have the technical equipment in their schools we are the lucky teachers because we took part in this great course .we are going to use technologies in our large classes

the second topic :Today given presentation is one of the most important aspects and its better to have good presentation .PowerPoint is very easy to learn .I don't have used before ,but iam going to use it .its necessary for:

1-Reviewing previous lesson ,by the repetition students get more benefit .

2-Review before  examination .

3-Presenting regular verbs

4-Preposition

5- countable and uncountable noun.

6-Also its good for presenting games either for warm up or brain storming .

finally I think using power point takes too much time that's why its better to use weekly or monthly.

week six had been introduced with two topics in nice net,learning style and Alternative assessments.

first I would like to thank our dear Prof Deborah for sharing for these wonderful themes .Although its near to the last weeks topics ,but I think its a message for us for adding technology for our curriculum or we us teachers do that for our classes where it hasn't been before .It is our responsibility use of technology and to encourage teachers to use technology to their advantage and to their students needs.

I have thought long which tools that I want to use in my classes.which tools allow me and my students.

iam not sure yet students to be able to do,but life is always full of chances.iam going to crate a classroom blog for parents and students.Authentic assessment are useful tools .one of the tools iam going to use is a rubric .it tells the user what is expected and provides feedback to each other.

creating power point presentations is always a nice way for students to express what they have learned .it also allows students to show their creativity and apply it to real life situations .

and also another nice and useful thing which i learned this week with my thanks for the yamada centre and our guest moderator Jeff Magoto he made me busy with maze he provided .i like this new trend in using web for such purpose and educational techniques .

finally this course has made me think about what technology are really needed in a classroom and how they can benifit instruction in the most productive way instead of playing or having fun with computers.

Week 5 : authentic application of Web Services

Dear Deborah and my friends

The two useful and difficult topics of this week;

1-project based learning
2-Web Quest
concerning the first topic i read all of my collegouse ideas and writings and I searched among the sites which you gave and other sites .most of those projects are suitable for our students .I used the project of making pizza with my students they  spent a nice time and  learned more vocabulary and express their feelings its enjoyable for me and the students .
the second topic is new for all .but led me to read more and more about it  .I could learn something which i didnt know before ,becouse its new for us.it encourage students to develope their critical thinking skills.really its useful but needs more technology inside the class.

Fourth week

Fourth week /Technology-enhanced lesson plan

  this week like other previous weeks was very interesting , sharing idea among collegouse and searching among useful sites ,I would like to express my deepest gratitude to dear Dr Debourah for giving us this chance. I learned new things which i have not known before . I spend most of my time in front of this great technology (internet )to be able to read my collogoue comments and ideas ,really its a nice world . 

about  the first topic of this week the teacher  has to use or write an action plan before she/he inter the classroom.the teacher should know what is his/her aim ,the materials which they use ,the time they need for a lesson,the precedes they need to use and other things .I  used action plan before but frankly iam going to expand the way of my teaching and bring more technology to class. next wee k I will bring data shop to the class ,in our curricula sunrise there is a literary reader (A round the world in 80 days )by Jules verne , I have this film by CD and i will show my students by data shop .

second topic ,I was searching among sites to find out the interesting and useful sites . www.English.com is useful, interesting ,enjoyable and easy for my students to find new vocabulary ,songs .jokes and so on .

third week

Hi, welcome to my blog

Thank you our greatProp.Debourah for your supports when we face any difficulty by your kind emails you could solve our problems in a very clear and simple way.

creating Delicious.com,technology in building oral/aural skill and searching among websites those are good for building skills

first TOPIC you introduced us to www.Delicious.com, bookmarks and tags.I have been getting ready to use Delicious.I think bookmarks provided by Delicious,here I could  find sites ,articles or for sharing in with someone.it has useful  information The purpose for using Delicious to help users remember links.

the second topic about using technology inside classroom (T.V ,RADIO,COMPUTER ,CD) listening is the key for other skills ,here the students could hear the native speaker using technologies are positive item for encouraging students to learn the language. I use CD player in the classroom,fortunately we have new curricula sunrise book. In sun rise text book we have a subject about  sending emails ,I brought my laptop to the class and explained something about sending emails with attach file.really its interesting to them.

The third topic about exploring websites  I found some suitable and useful also intresing websites ,I gave them to my students to search at home, their parents or older sister or  brother  have internet at home . www.free-english-study.com , www.laugh and learnenglish.com.

I could save them in bookmarks.

Dear, Deborah,Im sorry for being late in posting a new post .really i had a problem ,i thought i post the post , but then i knew that its unsuccessfully.im sorry for that.

I want to thank you for your support. appreciate you . i learned something new and useful,

1-Behavioral learning;I learned that the major reason for using learning objectives is to communicate . I tried to be able to communicate with my students.How to Write Effective Lesson Plans .How to Write Learning Objectives TO BUILD SKILLS .Its a useful week discussion for helping teachers to become professional teacher.I learned that i must see the end of my instruction.how to prepare my self in better way before i enter the class.

2-Alternative Google; thank you for letting us know about Noodle Tools .it is interesting to see what google do .i knew more than one sites for searching ,those sites are very helpful and necessary for us for searching .i want to thank my collegouse they introduced many useful sites.i hope to use them i mean to teach my students in classrom in near future.
